Hardy in zones 6 – 9, Leyland Cypress (Cupressocyparis leylandii) has set the standard for fast growing evergreen tree screenings with its beautiful, dense, year-round green foliage. Leyland Cypress grows to 50 feet high, 15 feet wide. Establishes quicker than Thuja Green Giant and is more drought tolerant when it is young. Leyland Cypress is also the most popular Christmas tree on Southern Choose & Cut Christmas tree farms. Space 6′ – 7′ for a quick screen.
