Words often used to describe Crptomeria Yoshino are “beautiful,” “elegant,” & “striking.” Cryptomeria Yoshino, also called “Japanese Cedar,” makes a dramatic lawn tree, street tree, or screen.
Cryptomeria is pyramidal in form and grows best in full sun but does ok in part shade/part sun. Can grow in clay, loam, or sand and has moderate drought tolerance.
Mature size of 30′ – 40′ tall, 15′ wide. Hardy in zones 6 – 8.
