Cryptomeria Japonica 'Yoshino'Cryptomeria, Cryptomeria japonica yoshino, fast growing evergreen tree

Words often used to describe Crptomeria Yoshino are "beautiful," "elegant," & "striking." Yoshino, also called "Japanese Cedar," makes a dramatic lawn tree, street tree, or screen.

Form: Pyramidal.
Hardiness zones: 6 - 8.
Conditions: Best in full sun but ok in part shade/part sun. Clay, loam, sand: acidic, well-drained. Moderate drought tolerance.
Growth Rate: Medium.
Mature size: 30' - 40' tall. 15' - 20' wide.
Uses: Bonsai, screening hedge, parking lots & other urban sites, specimen.
